For 30days straight, I’ve been doing yoga in my bedroom.

No yoga studio, no group classes, just me, YouTube and the accountability of my amazing sister in law who said “YES!!” to doing a 30-day yoga challenge with me.

Showing up on my mat every day is me showing up to love and honour my body.

To tune in, move, feel, strengthen, bend, stretch… breathe.

After 30 days I feel stronger, more flexible, confident, healthy, more at peace and more grounded.

Showing up to do anything nourishing and healing for your body is an act of self-love, but it’s also a time of Self reflection. How am I feeling? What’s going on with my body? What needs loving attention?

So if you can’t make it to a yoga studio because you’re running late from work, it’s too cold, you couldn’t find a park, you can’t be arsed, I highly recommend pulling out your laptop ( Yoga with Adriene on YouTube is my fav ) finding space and showing your body some love, even if its just 5 mins.
